Dress Ship Times

Bari Jay's standard dress delivery is 12 weeks as well as 6-8 week rush and 4-5 week super rush options.

All ship times are approximate and may differ by up to 2 weeks.Ā Ā 

The above stated ship times reflect the approximate shipping from our warehouse to you, the customer. It isĀ not the date the order will arrive to you.Ā 

All dress orders ship from our warehouse via UPS and delivery to most locations in the continental US take less than 7 days transit time.

Bows, Accessories & Fabric Ship Times

Standard ship time for orders containing non-dress products only is 8-10 weeks as well as Rush for 6-7 weeks and Super Rush for 4-5 weeks.

*If ordering with a dress, all items will be shipped together and will default to the dress ship times.

In-Stock Items

The Jersey Infinity dress (in all colors and sizes) and fabric swatches (including swatch cards) are in stock and ship from our warehouse within 2-3 days of the order date.

If you order the Jersey Infinity or swatch in combination with a dress, fabric yardage or accessory, the items will ship separately as our swatches and Jersey Infinity ship from our New York warehouse while all other dresses, fabric yardage and accessories ship from our Kentucky warehouse.Ā 

Jersey Infinity dresses ship via UPS and swatches ship via USPS. You can choose to expedite delivery at checkout.

Delays

As a reminder, due to elements beyond Bari Jay's control, such as customs, shipping
schedules, and weather, ESTIMATED SHIP DATES MAY BE DELAYED! If such an unforeseen eventĀ occurs and your order is delayed due to circumstances beyond Bari Jay's control, Bari JayĀ will NOT absorb upgraded shipping fees and will not cancel/take back the order.

We recommend having at least 2-3 weeks between the ship date and wear date.

Are your dresses cheaper on your website compared to a retail store?Ā 

No, our dresses are typically not cheaper if you purchase directly from us through the website. Our dresses are sold in store by independent retailers and though we have set an MSRP, prices may vary slightly from store to store. Since our stores are independently owned there is no way to enforce a strict MSRP. When you purchase through a store you gain their expertise and knowledge of our brand!

What sizes are available & how do I pick the right one?

We aim to be size inclusive so if you are having trouble finding the right size please note most styles can be ordered with custom measurements!

  • Bari Jay dresses in Bella Chiffon, Mikado, Stretch Charmeuse, Stretch Crepe and Velvet:Ā Available from sizes 0 to 26W. We also offer custom measurements if you are measuring larger than size 26W.
  • Bari Jay Lux Stretch Dresses:Ā Available in sizes XXS-4X. We also offer custom measurements if you are measuring larger than size 4X.
  • In-Stock Jersey Infinity Dresses:Ā Considered 'one size fits most' and come in size A(0-20) and B(16W & up). These dresses also have a longer standard length to accommodate most heights.
  • All Dresses:Ā (Except in-stock Infinity) Can be ordered with 5 inches extra length for those of a taller stature or who like to wear very high heels.
  • Kids Dresses:Ā Juniors in Bella Chiffon, Mikado, Stretch Charmeuse, Stretch Crepe and Velvet come in sizes 8JR-18JR. Junior Lux Stretch dresses come in size S-L. Flower girl dresses come in toddler sizes 12MO-4T and children's sizes 5-14.
  • Select Maternity Styles:Ā Available in sizes 2M-20M and are all empire silhouettes to leave room for a growing belly!

We strongly recommend that all measurements are taken by a professional seamstress, or an authorized Bari Jay retailer to ensure that your measurements are taken correctly.

How long does it take to receive my order?
Lead time is the time it takes from ordering until the order ships from our US warehouse. All lead times and shipping dates are approximate.

Made to Order Dresses (except in-stock Infinity Dresses) lead time isĀ  10-12 weeks from ordering unless you add a 6-8 week rush or a 4-5 week super rush.
Jersey Infinity dresses and Swatches are in stock and ship from our US warehouse within 1-3 days of placing your order.
Extras (Fabric by the yard, accessories & bows) Lead time is 8-10 weeks unless you add a 6-7 week rush or 4-5 week super rush. To inquire about expediting extras email orders@barijay.com.

What are my shipping options?
We ship all dresses via UPS. In the continental US we offer Ground, 2nd-Day, and Next Day delivery. For International orders, please check the UPS website for shipping options and contact us at orders@barijay.com if you have any questions or issues expediting your order on our website.
Swatch orders ship via USPS. We offer Ground Advantage and Priority shipping options.

How Can I Track My Order?
Once you place your order online, you will be able to see the details of the purchase, follow its preparation, and see shipping updates in the My Account area.

Do you ship internationally?
We ship to most countries via UPS. All duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer to be paid to the carrier while in route. We do not accept returns on international orders. Shipping on International orders may take slightly longer to fulfill than US orders. Please note that these orders need to pass through the customs office in your country before it will be released for final delivery, which can occasionally cause additional delays. Once an order leaves our warehouse, carrier shipping delays may occur due to factors outside our control. We, unfortunately, canā€™t control how quickly an order arrives once it has left our warehouse. Contacting the carrier is the best way to get more insight into your packageā€™s location and estimated delivery date.

Which Payment Methods Do You Accept?
All major credit cards, as shown at checkout as well asĀ Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay & Shop Pay. Please note that your billing address must match the address on your credit card statement.

How can I return or exchange my order?
Every dress is made to order, therefore there are no straight exchanges. Returns are only accepted within 7 days of the delivery date. Dresses must be in their original, unused and unwashed condition and must have all hang tags still attached. There is a 20% restocking fee and we do not refund the original shipping costs. Customer is responsible for return shipping. Please email orders@barijay.com with your order number and reason for return to start the return process. Please note if the garment does not meet the above criteria, we will ship the garment back to you and you will not be issued a refund. We strongly recommend that you return any items via a registered trackable service and retain proof of posting as we do not accept responsibility for items that fail to arrive to us. Please read our Return Policy for more information.

How Do I Cancel My Order?
Orders can only be cancelled prior to 4PM EST on the day you place the order. After that time orders cannot be cancelled. All dresses are made to order so the fulfillment process starts shortly after submitting the order to ensure you receive your dress as quickly as possible.

Can I buy fabric by the yard or swatches?
  • Swatches: We keep swatches in stock so they ship via USPS within 1-3 days of placing your order. Please visit our Swatch Shop to see shipping options.
  • Fabric by the yard: You can purchase fabric in 1 yard increments. Lead time is 8-10 weeks unless you add a 6-7 week rush or 4-5 week super rush. To inquire about expediting fabric email orders@barijay.com.
Will my dress match the color shown on the website?
Computer monitors, phones, tablets and printers vary greatly from one device to another and may alter the appearance of the color of the dress. Therefore, the actual color of the garment may not exactly match the color seen on your device. The best way to see our colors is in person by buying a swatch from our Swatch Shop!

Do you charge sales tax?
We are required to charge sales tax on all orders shipped to New York state.

What is the tariff charge that was added onto my order?

This charge represents the reciprocal tariffs announced by the U.S. Government, which will take effect on April 9, 2025.Ā Regrettably, we are unable to absorb this new cost entirely. As a result, beginningĀ April 9, we will implement a temporary 7.5% surcharge on most products(excludes in-stock products) to help offset a portion of the tariff. We will adjust or remove the surcharge should conditions change.
