Refund policy

Returns

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the order number and proof of purchase.

Once you have initiated the return on your account, please contact us at info@barijay.com so we can provide you with instructions on how and where to send your package.

If your return is approved, you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping and you will be charged a 20% restocking fee. If you need us to provide a return shipping label we can do so, however the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like swatches, fabric by the yard, bows, accessories or the in-stock Jersey Infinity dress. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
We do not offer straight exchanges. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. This will be treated as a return so you will incur the 20% re-stocking fee and any shipping costs. Please keep in mind our dresses are cut to order so if you order a replacement you will need to wait for the new dress to be made. Standard shipping time is 12 weeks. We also offer a 6-8 week rush and 4-5 week super rush.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. You will also be charged the $50 re-stocking fee and any freight or duty charges to return the item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

*Please note, you will only be refunded for the cost of the dress. Any rush fees, upcharges, or shipping costs will not be refunded.
